Terms of Service

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (“you”) and Michael Cooper, doing business as MichaelCee, OnePoundEmail and HelpMyIT ("MichaelCee," “OnePoundEmail, ”HelpMyIT," “we," “us," or “our”), concerning your access to and use of, and as well as any other media form, media channel, mobile website or mobile application related, linked, or otherwise connected thereto (collectively, the “Site”).

You agree that by accessing the Site, you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Terms of Service.

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to make changes or modifications to these Terms of Service from time to time.

We will alert you about any changes by updating the “Last updated” date on this page, and you waive any right to receive specific notice.

You will be subject to, and will be deemed to have been made aware of and to have accepted, the changes in any revised Terms of Service by your continued use of the Site after the date such revised Terms of Service are posted.

Your Account

You may be required to register with the Site. You agree to keep your password confidential and will be responsible for all use of your account.

By using the Site, you represent and warrant that: (1) all registration information you submit will be true, accurate, current, and complete; (2) you will maintain the accuracy of such information and promptly update such registration information as necessary; (3) you have the legal capacity and you agree to comply with these Terms of Use; (4) you are not a minor in the jurisdiction in which you reside; (5) you will not access the Site through automated or non-human means; (6) you will not use the Site for any illegal or unauthorized purpose; and (7) your use of the Site will not violate any applicable law or regulation.

If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current, or incomplete, we have the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the Site (or any portion thereof).

Billing and Payments

Payments are accepted in GBP (Pound Sterling) via PayPal (Debit/Credit Card) and UK Bank Transfer.

Refunds are not offered for all services except Email Hosting which can be refunded within 14 days.

Chargebacks and disputes damage the reputation of our payment accounts and if your account is linked to a dispute, we reserve the right to cancel all active and pending services and close your account. We also reserve the right to charge a £25 administrative fee to re-enable your account.

We reserve the right to alter the pricing for any of our services at any given time.


If a domain name is listed as available on our website, we will attempt to register it on your behalf subject to an order and any applicable fees.

There is no guarantee that any domain name, even if listed as available, will successfully be registered regardless of payment being made. If for any reason we cannot register your domain, you will receive a full refund to your original payment method.

Renewal reminders for any active domains will be sent 30 days before the renewal is due.

Email Hosting

DNS Requirements

You are required to have valid SPF and MX records on domains that send through our service. Failure to do so results in reduced sending reputation for your domain and our IP addresses, which can result in us parting ways to ensure high quality sending for our other customers. The SPF and MX records are given to you in an email sent after you pay for service.

Backup Policy

To operate as a budget provider we do not retain any backups. We advise all clients to regularly take backups of their account.

Sending Limits

Each email address is limited to sending up to 300 outbound emails per hour. You may not create additional email accounts for the sole purpose of extending that limit and accounts found to be doing that will be terminated.

Forbidden Uses

To protect the integrity of our services and/or to comply with laws and regulations, the following uses are forbidden from our services

  • Outgoing spam. All mailing lists must be double opt-in. Clients must sign up and then verify their e-mail address to be added to a mailing list. Violations of this policy will result in termination and intentional unsolicited marketing emails will be billed at a rate of £1 per email.
  • Forums or communities that share and/or trade compromised personal data (leak forums).
  • Forums or communities that share and/or trade pornographic material.
  • Bulk email sending to email addresses.
  • Server notification emails to email addresses (Such as CSF/LFD).
  • Sending SMS messages via email.
  • Bulk marketing emails (regardless of opt-in status).
  • Bulk forwarding for multiple domains.
  • "Warmup" services.
  • Activities that lead to IP address reputation damage.
  • Activities that abuse the server's system resources.
  • Spoofing “From” headers to display a third party or domain that you do not own or manage.

Uptime Guarantee

OnePoundEmail and our service providers guarantee a 99% service uptime on all plans for POP, IMAP and SMTP. Should we fail to deliver this for any given calendar month, you may request a refund for the duration of excessive downtime which will be paid to your account credit.

Limitations of Liability

We shall not be responsible for any claimed damages, including incidental and consequential damages, which may arise from/during your use of the Site. Furthermore, we shall not be responsible for any claimed damages, including incidental or consequential damages, resulting from the corruption or deletion of any data during the processing of a service. All damages shall be limited to immediate termination of active services.
